Banking Operations Officer III

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking to hire Operations Officers. We are looking for administrative individuals with prior back end banking experience with a focus on letters of credit, trade finance, International trade knowledge of UCP600.  

The Operations Officer will be responsible for processing paper files into system. This includes data entry, printing, analyzing the document and customer service over the phone and e-mail. Providing external customer service to corporate business clients or corporate commercial clients.

Contract term: 02/12/2017 to 29/11/2018, possible extension and conversion 

Pay rate: $16.17/hr - $18.24/hr

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

Shift schedule: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

MUST HAVE:
• 2 + years of experience Letter of credit
• 2 + trade finance experience
• knowledge of UCP, 1SBP, ICC rules
• Documentary LC- product provide by bank ( international shipping)
• Detail oriented and focused

NICE TO HAVE
• finance related background
• Bachelor degree
• experience with an international shipping company
