Our client is leading Canadian bank. 

Pay rate:  $17.50/hr 

12/04/2017 to 05/11/2018

SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must have skills: 
Fast learner, ability to work independently and in a team
good customer service
good communication skills
Outlook definitely- Microsoft office knowledge word, excel
Administrative or customer service background

Nice to have:
Knowledge of insurance.

Reporting to the Team Leader Documentation, the incumbent is primarily responsible for providing various administrative support duties to the Claims department. The incumbent is accountable for ensuring timely and efficient service to each area’s internal clients.

- Provide a high level of administrative support to our business partners ensuring the optimal level of customer service and professionalism
- Manage efficiently in a multi-tasked environment and ensure deadlines are met
- Apply appropriate due diligence ensuring accuracy in preparing and promptly completing all required supporting documentation (i.e. reports, payments, invoices, correspondence/communications, data entry, files, etc.)
- Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality, escalate where appropriate
- Efficiently manage expectations/concerns through strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Maintain proficiency with software applications/programs and/or department specific systems as required (ie. MS Office, Word, Claim Centre, As400, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Efficiently manage and promptly respond to all incoming enquiries/requests for information independently or re-direct to the appropriate person/area
-Take initiative to identify and recommend improvements in own job function, research and/or investigate issues requiring resolution in order to execute on assigned tasks
- Assist and cooperates with colleagues during peak periods, vacation times and special projects, while maintaining own personal workload.
- Assists with Departmental procedures to improve levels of efficiency and productivity.
- Ensures quality standards are met.
- Provides back up support to the reception department.
