Accounting /Office Admin

Our client, a cosmetic brand in Toronto is looking for a Accounting/Office admin.

Location: North York, ON 

Temp to perm 

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or PO amendments
  • Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Receive and process incoming orders
  • Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies

Qualification: 

  • Proven experience in Accounting and office adminstration 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
