Telecom Analyst/Unified Communications Analyst II_Concord

Our client is a leading manufacturing company for cosmetics, pharma, & cleaning products in North America.

We are looking for a Level 2 Unified Communications Analyst.  This person will provide support for our growing Cisco UC environment, as well as our MDM solution and ongoing detailed analysis of our monthly telecom billing for North America.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs monthly detailed billing analysis, tracks trends, usage, average costs and provides recommendations for cost control.
- Ensures UC support is provided to users, including troubleshooting, problem resolution & training.
- Provides input into designing and implementing short and long-term strategic plans to ensure that the telecommunication infrastructure meets existing and future requirements.
- Works with MDM solution to manage mobile devices.
- Works with other team members and provides recommendations for capacity planning associated with hardware, applications and voice infrastructure
- Enhances business relationships to obtain a better understanding of business processes and requirements to assist in the development of new call handling procedures
- Proactively researches to provide recommendations on cost effective solutions for various business requirements for the ongoing process improvement and efficiency of telephony environment
- Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and training documentation for telecommunication systems.
- Ensure Telecom/UC user documentation is developed when new telephony technology or infrastructure is introduced and updated when required
- Provides telephony infrastructure recommendations, design and telephony support to existing and future North American locations.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing telephony system monitoring and troubleshooting of issues and manages relevant parties (external vendors, users) to ensure issue resolution on a timely basis
- Manages relationships with external telecom vendors, and tracks vendor issues
- Flexibility to travel locally as well as internationally

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco telephony technologies such as Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, Unified Contact Centre Express
- Advanced experience with MS Office including Excel and Visio to compile reports and to assist with testing, analysis and design.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to translate user requirements into clear application solutions.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
- University degree in Business Technology Management, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or equivalent industry-related business experience; completion of Cisco VoIP courses an asset.
