Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands on System administration experience, preferably in a Microsoft based server topology

• Strong hands on experience in the administration of server software such as Exchange 2007/2010, SQL 2000/2005, Active Directory, BES, VMware, Windows Server 2003/2008, Symantec Antivirus and Symantec Backup exec.

• Must be available on-call should systems go down during the off hours • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Sound documentation skills Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the support and administration of our clients Windows Server based infrastructure

• Daily backups of the database, server maintenance along, at times some minor network/firewall support, patch management, and server hardware troubleshooting/maintenance and configuration.

• Participate in project based work where a new implementation, rollout or decommission of server infrastructure or server software tools will be required.
