We are currently looking for a receptionsit for a week assignment in Richmond Hill.
Pay rate: 16/hr
8:00am – 4:30pm, with 2 (15) minute breaks
Start date: Dec 2, 2016 Friday for a job shadowing and Dec 5- 9
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive incoming calls and forward or screen appropriately in a professional manner
- Receive visitors in professional manner
- Open, separate and date stamp incoming invoices, sort and log cheques
- Update computerized check-in/out log
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, open general company addressed mail
- Responsible for all outgoing mail
- Book meetings and conference rooms using Microsoft Office
- Schedule courier pick-ups – by phone and on-line
- Sort and prepare invoices and statements for checking
- Orders Office Supplies
- Manages supply cupboard and coffee orders
- Assist other departments with clerical work periodically
EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:
- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent work experience considered an asset
- 1-3 years of corporate office or reception experience
- High degree of professionalism
- Excellent communication skills
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-starter with ability to work unsupervised
