Receptionist_1 week assignment

We are currently looking for a receptionsit for a week assignment in Richmond Hill. 

Pay rate: 16/hr

8:00am – 4:30pm, with 2 (15) minute breaks

Start date: Dec 2, 2016 Friday for a job shadowing and Dec 5- 9

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive incoming calls and forward or screen appropriately in a professional manner
  • Receive visitors in professional manner
  • Open, separate and date stamp incoming invoices, sort and log cheques
  • Update computerized check-in/out log
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, open general company addressed mail
  • Responsible for all outgoing mail
  • Book meetings and conference rooms using Microsoft Office
  • Schedule courier pick-ups – by phone and on-line
  • Sort and prepare invoices and statements for checking
  • Orders Office Supplies
  • Manages supply cupboard and coffee orders
  • Assist other departments with clerical work periodically

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:

  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent work experience considered an asset
  • 1-3 years of corporate office or reception experience
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-starter with ability to work unsupervised
