Maintenance Manager

Our client is a leading global automotive supplier in North America. We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the company ASAP in Concord location.

Report to:  Plant Manager

Responsible for continual improvement and maintenance on all production related equipment to ensure the maximum volume of up time is maintained; as well as satisfying customer and stakeholder needs.

• Ensure that an effective preventive and predictive maintenance system is in place and is clearly understood by the members of the maintenance team
• Ensure that building, building infrastructure, building services, production and production support equipment are in safe working condition, while meeting all applicable legislative requirements
• Ensure that all personnel are following company procedures and performing all work with the proper method to produce product at the lowest possible cost and at the highest possible quality level
• Ensure that proper records are kept and reports generated of all activities in maintenance department to facilitate problem solving and cost control
• Provide equipment downtime and equipment related cost reports in order to focus on cost reduction
• Schedule all necessary work activities under consideration of production requirement and maintenance staff skills
• Ensure that ICD retain and develop qualifies mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic staff, to conduct all preventive and emergency maintenance activities
• Maintain document on all equipment, building infrastructure, such as machine          manuals, electric circuit diagrams, hydraulic-pneumatic circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, spare part lists, and preventive and emergency breakdown work orders
• Participate as champion in TS 16949 and ISO 14001 elements as required

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent and  completed apprenticeship as either Industrial Millwright or Electrician
• Minimum of 5 years as Maintenance Supervisor or Manager in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance
• Knowledge of electric, mechanic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Familiar with applicable codes relating to maintenance such as Ontario Hydro Code, CSA, OHSA, Spill Response

The salary is $90k - 100k.
