Preweigh Operator_Scarborough

Leading Cosmetics Manufacturing company is hiring Preweigh Operator.

The position is responsible for the production equipment, ensuring regular machine maintenance to minimize downtime.  

Working Location: Scarborough (Eglinton & Warden)

Shift: Monday to Friday 2:45pm - 11:00pm; training on day shift for 3-4 weeks 

Salary: $17.60/hr + 4% vacation pay 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:      

1.     Set-up lines, ensuring all necessary components are in place.

2.     Ensure machines have been cleaned and sanitized.

3.     Maintain adequate stock of supplies

4.     Clean and replace tools before use

5.     Write and/or assist in writing work instructions for equipment assembly and sanitizing

Requirements:

1.     Previous experience in setting up packaging/filling equipment is a big asset

2.     Able to do heavy lifting work
