Our client, a leading Pharmaceutical company, is seeking skilled Production Workers to join their production team and start work as soon as possible.
Full time, Temporary ongoing positions.
Location: Eglinton Ave E and Dixie Rd (Mississauga)
Pay rate: $17.60 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
Shifts Available: Day: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Mon to Fri) and Afternoon: 3:15 pm - 11:15 pm (Mon to Fri)
Responsibilities:
- General Labour, Packaging duties while working on production lines, cleaning of production and compounding equipment. Operates various production equipment.
- Participates in finished goods manufacturing in a clean room, using PPE and operating machines like printers, cutters, and sealers.
- Set up equipment and pre-scale ingredients and monitor processing activites. Supports the production and compounding of medical devices.
- Has experince with sanitation and cleaning duties such as Sweeping floors, mop cleaning of floors, Collecting garbage from time to time.
Requirements:
- Picking and packing products as assigned. Experience in Food, Pharma, Cosmetics company is preferred!
- Follow all GMP and H&S guidelines.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English well.
- Must be physically fit and able to do heavy lifting upto 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a loud, hot and fast paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours shift and can wear CSA Approved safety shoes while working.
- Comfortable working with pharmaceutical products.
- General cleaning of plant areas.
- Health & Safety conscious. Must be able to wear full PPE all time while working in the facility.
- Must be able to work full time 40 hours per week as per scheduled shifts.
- Full understanding of tasks assigned and able to do them.
