We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Intern / Data Entry Clerk to support our payroll team. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in payroll, accounting, or HR administration to gain hands-on experience while contributing to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Enter, verify, and maintain employee timesheets and payroll data accurately.
Assist with preparing payroll reports and reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy of employee information (new hires, terminations, pay changes).
Support compliance with company policies, CRA, and provincial employment standards.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll records.
Assist HR/Payroll team with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Enrolled in or recently completed a program in Payroll, Accounting, HR, or related field.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entry systems.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
Mandarin language skills considered a strong asset.
