Tower Rigger-Whitby

Position Overview: 

The Rigger will be required to perform all necessary antenna range rigging and mounting activities

Essential Job Functions

• Rig and mount prototype and/or Production antennas for testing
• Perform antenna adjustments such as L-Band and ESA sub-reflector adjustments while the antenna is mounted on the tower
• Support Range Technician during development and production antenna measurements
• Maintain Range equipment and work area

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• One year experience in climbing/rigging
• 2-3 years experience Tower Rigger
• Experience in the telecommunication industry
• Ability to work comfortably at heights, working outside for 8 hours
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Familiarity with various testing techniques would be an asset

Hourly Rate: $21-$25/hour
