Production Supervisor _ Vaughan

A global fast-growing, entrepreneurial color cosmetics company is looking for a Production Supervisor to join the team.

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production by utilizing and optimizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS). The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of relevant experience in Production supervision, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a team. What You’ll Do


Supervision and Leadership:

• Lead and supervise production staff to ensure efficient and safe operations.

• Manage works hours, vacations, and ensure the staff adheres to all Company's guidelines.

• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

• Provide guidance and training to new employees.

• Plan and coordinate daily production activities including assembly, E.com, Marketing Order.

• Identify and address daily operational challenges, including production delays, staffing issues, and quality concerns.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues promptly.

KPI Management, Operation Efficiency

• Utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS)(NetSuite) to maintain live fulfillment and accuracy of the PO and WO.

• Monitor closely and ensure the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to production output, quality, and efficiency

• Work closely with other supervisors (Shipping and Warehouse) to guarantee efficient plant execution and Order shipping on time.

• Develop and implement efficient processes.

• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure accuracy and precision in order fulfillment.

• Ensure that all products meet company standards by closely monitoring the production process and implementing corrective measures as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety regulations and guidelines within the plant.

• Conduct regular safety training sessions.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Proactively identify areas for operational improvement, implementing changes that enhance productivity and quality

 

Who You Are

• 1-3 years of experience in Production supervision or a related field.

• Bachelor’s degree in production industrial, Management or a related field

• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.

• Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), NetSuite preferred.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of inventory management principles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

• Ability to work potential overtime hours over weekdays or weekends
