Our client, a leading hand-made bath and beauty products manufacturing company in Vancouver is hiring for well experienced Production Assistants to work in a fast-paced working environment.

Location: Vancouver, BC (SW Marine Dr & W Kent Ave N)
Full time Morning shifts; 7am to 3:30pm
Wage: $17.44/hour + Applicable Shift Premiums
MUST HAVE CSA-APPROVED SAFETY SHOES AND CAN WORK FULL-TIME!!
Job Duties:
- Assist in producing high-quality soap products.
- Perform dexterous tasks such as Filling, Pouring liquid raw materials from jugs into the molds and pressing products accurately with precise measurements.
- Required pressing mixes with strong hand dexterity.
- Able to handle heavy jugs filled with liquid so required to be physically strong.
- Pack products and correctly label packages.
- Attention to details is required. Ready to quickly change duties, with team collaboration.
- Follow packing and shipping instructions according to department guidelines.
- Supporting peers with daily duties and responsibilities while ensuring safety and SOP guidelines are being followed.
- Conduct daily inventory counts, and product rotation checks, investigate and reconcile inventory issues.
Qualifications:
- Available to work Full-Time Shifts. Students on drop for 3-4 months can apply.
- Flexibility to work within the different departments as required and can start ASAP.
- Confident with basic mathematics, ability to count, including addition and subtraction.
- Able to do physical work for 8-hour shifts, on your feet, and lift 50 pounds.
- Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual, dependable and can maintain confidentiality.
- Competency in English: reading, writing, and speaking.
