Parts Associate in Sarnia

Our client company - Refrigerated Trailer manufactory is currently seeking motivated Parts Associate to join their growing team in a fast-paced manufacturing Plant in Sarnia!

Shift: Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 6 pm with overtime availability on Fridays.

Location: Blackwell Side Rd & Hwy 402, Sarnia

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Follow instructions from the Inventory Control/Warehouse Manager.
• Conduct daily on-site inventory cycle counts to ensure optimal production levels.
• Update parts and materials in the ERP system daily.
• Receive product deliveries physically and enter into the ERP system using a handheld scanner.
• Report damage and short shipped product deliveries.
• Verify product deliveries by cross-referencing with the packing slip.
• Pick items from rack locations and place them in a staging area.
• Transfer orders from the staging area to the production area.
• Scan and send shipping documents to the headquarters location.
• Sort and verify quantities that are shipped from overseas for upcoming job orders.
• Attend supply chain meetings to discuss current and upcoming job orders.
• Responsible for scanning all items into the current job order using a handheld scanner.
• Abide by the company's inventory management process and procedures.
• Comply with all OSHA safety standards and EPA regulations.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Report any delays, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Education and/or Experience
High School graduate required; experience in inventory maintenance; forklift certification required; requires computer skills, proficiency using office software applications – word processing, excel, and email. Must have valid forklift certification. Previous inventory control experience is a plus.

Physical Demands
Normal physical condition to perform the essential functions of this job. Position requires ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Work Environment
The work environment has the typical industrial manufacturing characteristics include but are not limited to the following:
• Working in Confined Spaces: Depending on the manufacturing environment, the need to work in tight or confined spaces may arise.
• Noise Exposure: Exposure to loud machinery and equipment noise, requiring the use of hearing protection.
