Digital Printing Machine Operator

Our client, a leading IT digital infrastructure company, is currently hiring for a Digital Printing Machine Operator to start ASAP. 

Work location: Markham, ON (on-site)

Full-time Night shifts (11pm to 7am)

Must have experience with COLOUR MANAGEMENT & DIGITAL PRINTING.

Primary Responsibilities

• Follow a specific schedule to print production orders.
• Operate Xerox Printers, Xerox iGen4 Color Printers and Ricoh IP5000 Color Continuous Inkjet System.
• Printer set-up AND Submitting print files to printers.
• Verify printer alignment is set up correctly and make adjustments if required.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure the product is compliant.
• Place Service Calls when required.
• Clear out printer jams as required.
• Scan job print tickets in BOWE One.
• Fill out daily production logs.
• Responsible for keeping the work area organized and clean.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety, Security policies, and departmental procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills

• Work in a fast paced environment
• Must be detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to multi-task
• Mathematical ability e.g. addition, subtraction, problem-solving
• Knowledge of computers
• Completed high school diploma or some post-education is preferred

Physical Requirements:
• Maybe required to lift up to 40lbs
• Standing for extended periods
• Flexible with switching shifts when required
