Line Cleaner/Machine Operator in Leading Cosmetics Manufacturer, Scarborough, ON.

Leading cosmetics manufacturer in Scarborough is looking for Line Cleaner to start ASAP!!!

Full-time position, 40hrs/week.

Working location: Scarborough, ON (Sheppard & Brimley)

Shift:

Night shift: 10:30 pm - 6:30 am, Sunday night to Friday morning

Payrate: $18.7/hr plus vacation pay = $19.44/hr

 

Job Duties:

  • Inspection of equipment prior to use, prevent discrepancies
  • Use the proper cleaning agents and sanitize under GMP guidelines and department SOPs
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment
  • Preparing for cleaning and sanitizes for processing within the health and Safety guidelines and
    department SOP
  • Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns
  • Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures
  • Adhere to established Lockout/Tag out Programs
  • Actively participate and evaluate PSR’s
  • Participate in the establishment of annual EH&S objectives
  • Maintain clean work environment on the production floor and within the maintenance shop
  • Conform to all ergonomic assessment requirements
  • Actively participate and support the Canadian Operations 5S Program
  • Maintain a clean orderly work area according to GMP guidelines

 

Job Qualifications

  • Secondary School or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year in machine operation and plant sanitization
  • Able to do heavy lifting up to 50lbs
  • Good mechanical knowledge is an asset
  • Knowledge of small tools and light assembly
  • A clean criminal background is required
