Electrical Apprentice (3rd or 4th year) in Concord

Our client, a leading global automotive thermal and management supplier manufacturing company is looking for Electrical Apprentice to join their growing team in Concord location

Location: Concord, ON

Shifts: All shifts available

Scope:

To work in an apprenticeship position at the Division with a certified Electrician.

Skills and Qualifications:

OSSD and/or Pre-apprenticeship Certificate, Techniques Certificate is required.

Experience:

1-2 year’s previous apprenticeship experience, 2-5 years’ experience, preferably working in an automotive or a manufacturing environment. Willing to work with heights.

Able to read basic electrical schematics.

Be familiar with equipment lockout, tag out procedures. Basic PLC control.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Treat everyone with dignity, trust and respect
• Complete duties and tasks as assigned by
• Repair and maintain all equipment and machines within the building to ensure efficient, safe operation of the equipment with the shortest downtown.
• Interact with maintenance personnel to exchange technical information to facilitate in troubleshooting and repair process.
• Complete work orders as required
• Follow the Company’s Safety rules and Plant
• Comply with the designated IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 responsibilities, Health & Safety (H&S) rules and practices, company's policies, procedures and practices
• Understand and adhere to the guidelines and policies as described in the Company’s Employee Handbook.
• Works under strict supervision and follows all safety precautions and
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.
