Batch Mixer_ Scarborough

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company in Scarborough is urgently hiring for Batch Mixer to join the team.

Working location: Warden and St. Clair (Near Warden subway station). 

Work schedule: Two-week rotation of days, evenings, and nights. Monday to Friday.

As a Batch Mixer you will prepare the dough mix according to the recipe and load it into the production machine for baking:

• Ensure proper ingredients and spices are available for the production recipe.
• Follow recipes for adding ingredients.
• Follow proper stages during the mixing process.
• Deliver to the depositor box.
• After emptying the mixing bowl, remove it and take it to the washing room.
• All other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1 – 3 years of experience as a mixer (preferably in manufacturing)
• Good command of English – written and verbal
• Able to read and understand measurements, follow directions – verbal & written in English
• Is a demonstrated team player and can also work independently
• Able to follow GMP and HACCP instructions
• Physical Demands: able to stand/sit for long periods of time, and engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting.
• Due to the environment, you will work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
