Our client, an appliance company is looking to hire a day shift Customer service representative for their showroom in Vaughan.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting supply chain procedures
- Taking payments and handling cash and/or checks
- Ability to communicate with customers to resolve any discrepancies
- Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery and following up/resolving any issues
- Calling customers and answering any calls with inquiries and questions
- Proactively communicate with clients to keep them informed and to collect information pertaining to the fulfillment of their shipments
- Coordinating deliveries and ensuring timely delivery
- Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with service providers, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any discrepancy of quality, quantity, and schedule.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures
- Ensuring shipping is based on the availability of inventory
- Inventory control/checking
- Managing/preparing shipping documents such as invoices and purchase orders
Requirements:
- One year of customer service in the appliance industry is preferred
- Well organized individual with understating of the order fulfillment cycle
- Work experience such as logistics administrator and/or office administrator is an asset
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written
