Day Shift Preweigh Operator/ Machine Operator in Markham

Leading cosmetics manufacturer in Markham is looking for Preweigh Operator to start ASAP!!!

Full-time position, 40hrs/week.

Working location: Markham, ON (Warden & Denison)

Day shift: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30 am to 1:30 pm on Friday

Pay rate: $17.68/hr including vacation pay

Job Duties:

  • Inspection of equipment prior to use, prevent discrepancies
  • Use the proper cleaning agents and sanitize under GMP guidelines and department SOPs
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment
  • Preparing for cleaning and sanitizes for processing within the health and Safety guidelines and department SOP
  • Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns
  • Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures
  • Adhere to established Lockout/Tag out Programs
  • Actively participate and evaluate PSR’s
  • Participate in the establishment of annual EH&S objectives
  • Maintain clean work environment on the production floor and within the maintenance shop
  • Conform to all ergonomic assessment requirements
  • Actively participate and support the Canadian Operations 5S Program
  • Maintain a clean orderly work area according to GMP guidelines

 

Job Qualifications

  • Secondary School or equivalent
  • Experience in dispensing and cutting raw materials in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Good mechanical knowledge is an asset
  • Clean criminal background
