Bookkeeper/ Data Entry

Our client is a leading manufacturing company for cosmetics products. We are looking for a Bookkeeper/ Data Clerk to start as soon as possible. 

The Bookkeeper/ Data Entry Operator is a member of the Operations team, they will be part of a fast-paced, energetic environment where they will play a key role supporting the operations of our organization. The Data Entry Operator will efficiently manage a large amount of information that is often sensitive or confidential and ensure the integrity of the data. The ideal candidate will possess a high attention to detail and a passion for technology and numbers.

Working location: North York at Dufferin & Finch 

Working hours: 9am-5pm


  • Responsible for data entry of all Assembly and Item Fulfilment transactions in the warehouse on ERP system and maintaining database by entering new and updated inventory information as needed.
  • Receive and register invoices, forms, records, lot codes and other documents for data capture
  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
  • Responsible for various administrative and clerical duties including scanning, reporting, filing, printing, photocopying, label creation and boxing materials. 
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
  • Accessing and compiling data into functional reports to be used by operations to manage metrics and performance. 
  • Provide administrative support for company projects and events
    Assists with other areas of operations and production on the warehouse floor as required

Desried Experience and Qualification:

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in an entrepreneurial type environment without large corporate infrastructure and will be reporting to the Quality Assurance Coordinator.

Other specific experience and qualifications include: 

  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data entry operator or Office clerk
  • Diploma in Business Administration or related field is preferred
  • Possesses an understanding of ERP, SAP, or NetSuite
  • Solid computer skills with advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Excel – Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS)
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with various levels of staff within the Company
  • Typing speed and accuracy
