$20/ hr Material Handler / Forklift Operator in Cosmetics Industry - Scarborough

Leading Cosmetics manufacture is looking for an experienced Material Handler starting ASAP!

Working Location: Eglinton & Warden 

Day Shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm 

Salary: $20 / hr PLUS 4% vacation pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing daily warehouse functions that include: loading, loading, offloading, picking, packing, sorting, weighing, data entering, transferring of material, processing returns, temperature monitoring, labeling, wrapping, and delivering in compliance with company and government regulations.
• Assisting in the inventory control process and investigating inventory discrepancies, damaged material, and reporting various non-compliance issues.
• Performing daily/weekly/monthly inspections on docks and material handling equipment while ensuring that the workplace safety measures, GMPs, and 5s standards are met.
• Carrying out daily functions using the proper MHE (CB Forklift, Dock Stocker, Order Picker, Reach truck, Stacker, Walkie, Ladder) safely.
• Using, filling in, handling, maintaining various documents such as Bols, Packlists, Shipping Forms, Put-away sheets, Pick sheets, Cycle Count sheets, Inventory count sheets, temperature control log.
• Using RF scanning equipment/tools for Receiving, Put-away, Picking, Staging, Process, Transfer and Ship functions.

Qualifications: 

Forklift certificate required. Candidate must hold the valid Counter balance, Raymond Reach, order picker and fall protection certificates.

1 year of warehouse experience is preferred.
