Logistics administrator in Vaughan

Our client, an appliance company is looking to hire a day shift logistics administrator for their showroom in Vaughan.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting supply chain procedures 
  • Calling customers and answering any calls with inquiries and questions 
  • Ability to communicate with customers to resolve any discrepancies
  • Taking payments and handling cash and/or checks
  • Proactively communicate with clients to keep them informed and to collect information pertaining to the fulfillment of their shipments
  • Coordinating deliveries and ensuring timely delivery 
  • Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with service providers, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any discrepancy of quality, quantity, and schedule.
  • Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery and following up/resolving any issues 
  • Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring shipping is based on the availability of inventory
  • Inventory control/checking 
  • Managing/preparing shipping documents such as invoices and purchase orders 

Requirements: 

  • Well organized individual with understating of the order fulfillment cycle
  • Work experience in the appliance industry is preferred
  • Work experience such as logistics administrator and/or office administrator is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written
