Leading food company is hiring a Warehouse Clerk to join the team.
Schedule shift: Monday – Friday; 6:30am – 3:00pm
Payrate: $16 - $18/hr depending on experience
Core Deliverables and Responsibilities:
• Warehouse clerical:
o Print shipping appointment schedule calendar daily.
o Print pick tickets of all outbound for the next day.
o Print incoming daily Incoming Ingredients Report (when required)
o Coordinate with Customer service and logistic department for any inventory shortage in advance.
o Verify all outbounds before loading.
o Prepare all outbounds documents i.e. BOL, packing list, customs report etc.
o Coordinate with logistic department for no show carriers.
o Verify all inbounds paperwork and truck seal before allotting the docks.
o Receive all inbounds in Macola and print FIFO labels.
o Ensure all truck driver to sign drivers log after dock in.
o Report any damages or issue with inbounds.
o Coordinate with QA for missing COA for inbounds.
o Coordinate with 3PL and carriers for transfer load.
o Manage drivers log, PO receipt tracking sheet, outbounds and inbounds details in daily basis.
o Call carriers for pickup of drums, recycled cardboard and scrap pallets.
• Inventory control / QC Hold
o Coordination and daily monitoring of the QC hold process
o Reports potential production material problems due to delay in shipment, inventory shortages, damages, and errors.
o Applying BB dates to Raw Ingredients when they are received.
o Monitoring Certificates of Approval for Raw Ingredients and placing items on Warehouse. Hold if the C of A does not arrive with the ingredient.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Able to work as part of a customer service & quality-focused team.
• Able to perform above duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and customer service
• Able to count, sort, code, and record information as required for inventory control.
• Good knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, Health & Safety procedures, including, OHSA & WHMIS.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Follow all proper maintenance, sanitation, and Health & Safety protocols always.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and general housekeeping
• Acquire new skills as per training provided.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors as a Quality Focused, Service Oriented Team Player
• Solve problems independently as per standard guidelines and procedures.
