Landscape Foreman

Our Client is a Toronto-based Lanscaping comany that offer a wide variety of services for residential and commerical customers. The company is currently hiring Lanscape Foreman for the team to work as soon as possible.

Location: North York 

Salary: $30-$35/hr with benefit 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of jobsites.
• Must have good working knowledge of landscape construction materials and techniques, including: natural stone, precast stone, grading, concrete, sodding, planting, etc.
• Must have experience in both hardscape and softscape.
• Able to coach and train team members.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Making sure that all additional work is approved by the Construction Supervisor/Project Manager. 
• Experience with skid steer loaders, excavators, compaction equipment etc.
• Manage a crew of 3-4 people effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members are.
  in compliance with government and company PPE standards.
• Operate various tools and equipment, including: heavy equipment, chainsaws, concrete saws, etc.
• Direct activities on job site and coordinate the workflow and what needs to be completed on a specific job site.
• Comply with all company policies and regulations.
• Must have a valid G Driver licence.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• All other duties as required.
• Minimum 7 years landscape experience.
