Our client, a leading manufacturer of food packaging, has the below urgent openings:

Location: Summerstown, ON

Position type: Temp to Perm

Lid Line Operator / Machine Operator / Setup Mechanic

Shifts Available:

• 12-hour Continental rotational shift nights and days (7 am-7 pm, 7 pm-7 am) OR
• Evening (3pm to 11pm, Mon to Fri)

Pay rates: 

• Operator: Rotational $19/hr plus night shift premium;
• Operator: Evening $17/hr
• Setup Mechanic: $21.50.hr

Qualifications:

• High School completion required
• Less than 6 months manufacturing experienc working in similar role
• Math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide), use fractions, decimals etc. Able to use calculator to determine percentages.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding mechanical systems.
• Basic troubleshooting skills to resolve minor machine issues relating to its operation
• Understanding of production measurement tools such as level, etc.
• Detailed record keeping
