$16/hr Carpentry/Carpenter - Finch and Markham

The equipment manufacturing industry is looking for Material Handler starting immediately!

Shifts:  8:30am to 5pm  

Salary:   $16.00/hr starting rate 

Location: Scarborough (Finch and Markham)

 Major Responsibilities:
 Cutting different types of structural wood (plywood, boards, etc.) using different types of
electric and pneumatic equipment (drill presses, miter saws, table saws, routers, jig
saws)
 Assembling different types of wood products using a variety of assembly tools (pneumatic
staplers, pneumatic nailers, electric drills, screwdriver and manual hammer)
 Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull and lift heavy objects
 Any other duties assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
 1 - 2 years’ experience in carpentry
 Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
 In-depth knowledge of different carpentry materials and techniques
 Familiar with hand tools / power tools – eg. Cordless drills and pneumatic tools.
 Professional, positive attitude with a strong and dependable work ethic.
 Efficient and consistent ability to produce high volume of quality work.
 Excellent time management skills.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
