Pre weigh associates - Cosmetics company in Scarborough,ON.

Cosmetics company Looking for Pre pre weigh associates in the Scarborough Area! Job starting immediately. 

Shifts:  Day 6:30am to 2:45pm

Salary:   $14.82/hr including vacation Pay

Location: Scarborough (Eglinton & Warden)

REQUIREMENTS:

·       Dispense / pick all raw materials in line with the compounding schedule or as directed by immediate Team Leader.

·       Record on the pick lists all related raw material lot #’s and quantity weighed.

·       Complete all documentation to the required level of quality, accuracy and timeline. Ensure all information is recorded in the correct documentation.

·       Label all containers with appropriate Batch related labels.

·       Ensure all raw materials are dispensed in proper order “FIFO” (First In First Out).

·       Follow all procedures regarding Health & Safety.  Report any safety concerns to the Team Leader or Manager.

·       Strict adherence to GMP and SOP’s procedures.

Physical Requirements:

·       This position involves cleaning of scoops, utensils, and using cleaning agents.

·       Use of mechanical lifting devices (eg.Drum Lifter), to transport up to 45 gallon drums of products.

·       Transfer raw material with a scoop (1 kg) and lifting up to 5 kg of material from floor to waist level.

·       Use of Pump trucks to transfer skids of material.

·       Neck: Frequent movement of neck in neutral position with head-tilting and/or turning.

·       Arms/Elbow/Wrist/Hand: Frequent movement of arms in neutral position with repetition of hands, wrists and/or fingers during formulation mixing or shaking.

·       Shoulder: Frequent rotational movement at the shoulder while batching.

·       Back: Regular lifting or carrying loads (20 – 50 lbs)

·       Eye & Hand: Excellent hand and finger dexterity and eye/hand co-ordination.

·       Standing for long periods of time.

Requirements: 

-- Ability of stand 8 hours per day and handling repetitive fast paced work

-- Must be able to work in team environment and be willing to follow instructions

-- Ability to pass a Background Check

-- Obtain English communication skills
