IT Network Administrator
Leading food manufacturing company looking for an IT Network Administrator to join the team as soon as possible.
- Title: IT Network administrator
- Temporary 6 months, with the ability to hire on full-time at 3 months if decided.
- Salary: $40/hr
- Working location: Etobicoke
Responsibilities:
- Support and expand internal networks.
- Resolve level 3 network issues.
- Manage and upgrade network hardware including but not limited to network switches, firewalls, routers and Wi-Fi access points.
- Ensure network security and connectivity.
- Define network policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- University degree and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification.
- Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting Wi-Fi mesh networks (Meraki, Motorola, Net gear).
- Practical experience in configuring and supporting Cisco ASA firewalls and Catalyst switches.
- Experience in installing and configuring Dell switches and servers.
- Strong understanding of network protocols including STP, LACP, IP Sec, SSL and layer 3 routing.
- Experience in Linux Ubuntu or CentOS.
- Knowledge of windows services and roles such as DHCP, DNS, RDP, IIS, DFS and NTP.
Knowledge of the following technologies would be an asset:
- vSphere networking
- MySQL
- Allen-Bradley industrial switches
- Ignition SCADA
