Machine operator in Mississauga

We are a folding carton manufacturing plant looking for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude to join our Finishing Department as a machine operator.

Job Summary

Feeds and takes off cartons.

Responsibilities and Duties

Applies correct case labels to corrugated cases.
Feeds cartons into gluer.
Takes off cartons from conveyors at gluer and place finished cartons into corrugated cases or plastic bins according to correct packaging specifications.
Performs quality checks according to SOPs.
Notifies Group Adjusters of any machine stops or any quality issues.
General clean up.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
Attends and participates in ongoing training.
Not limited to and including other duties as assigned.

Salary: $17.00 /hour

Shift: Rotating shift, Rotate weekly, day (7am to 3pm), afternoon (3pm to 11pm), night (11pm to 7am)

Benefits eligible after 3 months
