Parts Room Technician_Day shift_Etobicoke

One of our client is looking for Parts Room Technician role in Cosmetic manufacturing compnay.

Location: Kipling and Rexdale , Etobicoke

Shift:  Morning shift, 7am to 3:30pm

Position summary:

To ensure all parts needed to perform change over on the production lines are ready on cards. Also to help mechanics when necessary to complete the C/O or any type of maintenance.

Responsibilities:

-         Must be able to follow the Production Schedule and plan ahead for the C/O.

-         Be able to allocate the parts needed and have them ready on a card for the next shift.

-         To ensure all parts are in good working conditions and communicate accordingly when they are not.

-         Once parts for C/O are ready, assist the mechanics in completing them or any type of maintenance or PM.

-         Must have good organizational skills and be responsible for the house keeping of the area.

Qualifications:

-         Able to visually concentrate for extended period of time.

-         Able to stand, lift and carry consistently for eight hours.

-         Must be able to read, write and speak English.

-         Must work in accordance with all health and Safety and GMP regulations.

Working conditions:

-         Possibly of working with unpleasant odors.

-         Working in various temperature changes

-         Possibly of working under conditions of high noise levels

-         Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.

PPE (masks, gloves, gowns) will be provided.

Pay rate is $17.5/hr, including vacation pay
