Compounding Sanitizer_Day shift_Etobicoke

We are hiring for a client manufacturing various products such as pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and other care items.Their facility in Etobicoke is hiring for Compunding Sanitizer.

Shift: Day shift 

Loaction: Kipling and Rexdale (Etobicoke)

Posiiton: Temp - Hire

Pay arte: $18.92

Role and Responsibilities
1. Clean and Sanitize manufacturing equipment as required - in accordance with procedures provided/SOP.
2. Dismantle, clean - in accordance to procedure provided and re-assemble all related production pumps.
3. Maintain/ Prepare sanitizing solution in sanitation tanks - as required.
4. Fill out all appropriate documentation and follow sampling plan for Chemistry and Micro lab adequately.
5. Perform or do validations on filling equipment and lines when required.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times (mopping and sweeping production areas and around the fillers) Must keep Sanitization Room clean and safe as well
7. Comply with plant Safety Standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and all other plant policies.
8. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
9. Assist line operator and mechanics clean filler parts (12 hr procedure)
10. Empty garbage, recycle plastic and recycle cardboard on production lines.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Certifications:
1. Must be able to operate independently.
2. Must be able to operate a forklift and pass Voyant’s forklift test.
3. Must be able to easily move 45 Gallon drums during shift, stand, lift, bend, crouch, and reach consistently throughout the shift.
4. Must be able to read and write English (read and understand Production daily schedules).
5. Must be able to work in accordance with all Health and Safety and GMP Regulations.
6. Must be able to work overtime where necessary.

Working Conditions:
1. Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.
2. Working with unpleasant odours and fumes.
3. Working in various temperature changes.
4. High noise levels.
5. Regular work with moving machinery increases potential hazards.
6. Working in small areas with WHMIS regulated chemicals.
7. Possibility of rotating, midnight, afternoon, or continental shifts.
8. Constant contact with water
