Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor - North York, ON

Our client- a leading cosmetics manufacturer, is hiring for a Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible. 

Position type: Permanent 

Shifts:   8:30am-5pm/5:30pm (Day shift )

Salary:   $25-27/hr

Location: North York (Dufferin&Steeles)

Qualifications and or Experience:

• 3-5years of logistics experience in consumer-packaged goods and preferably the fashion/beauty industries
• Picking, packing and shipping customer orders
• Understand the use of MRP/EDI system
• Custom compliance on global basis
• Customs paperwork (B13, B3, Commercial invoicing)
• Organize and input bin location into the system after receiving
• Materials/ Inventory management
• Oversee warehouse procedures and implement/adhere to H&S guidelines
• Creating BOLs, choosing appropriate shipping method and carriers
• Ascertain how much freight to place on shipments
• Devise routes for shipments
• Monitor progress of major shipments to ensure receipt
• Proactive to customers demand
