Production Lead Hand in Etobicoke(Finch&Hwy27)

You will report to the Operations Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a safe & secure work environment for all employees and fostering compliance with all OH&S regulations
• Supervising and coordinating the activities of production and operation workers, monitors production, quality & waste targets. Ensures targets are met by identifying and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner
• Assist in monitoring and ordering of all inventoried materials
• Manage employee vacation request and sick days
• Be responsible for the delegation of workload for 20 direct reports

Qualifications include:

• 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook…)
• Flexibility and Availability for OT if required
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root cause and be able to implement change.
• Proven track record of leadership using positive coaching and feedback
• Demonstrated leadership, decision making, team work and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills

Work Hours:

Monday - Thursday  4pm to 12:15am
Friday                       2:15pm to 9:00pm

Salary:

$20-$25/hr
