Overhead Crane Operator_Vaughan_$22

We currently have a need for an experienced, professional, and outgoing crane operator to efficiently and effectively serve our clients, one of the biggest automotive manufacturer companies in North America. 

Location: Vaughan, Keele and Rutheford 

Shift: Straight Afternoon shift from to 11 pm, full-time

Pay Rate: $22/hr 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates daily tracking forms and ensures they are completed on a timely basis and balanced accurately
• Ensure Occupational Health & Safety policies are followed at all times throughout the factory and the rest of the facility.
• Operate overhead crane in a safe and responsible manner to load the products onto the omer’s vehicles.
• Drive forklift in a safe and responsible manner 
• Ensure delivery docket matches what has been loaded onto the customer’s truck
• Unload containers which arrive daily. Scanning receipts according to the procedure.
• Ensure paperwork is completed efficiently and correctly.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts.
• Daily equipment inspections.
• Cleaning/maintenance of the factory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional presentation, work ethic and behaviour
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience
• Current license/certification on Reach Truck Forklift and Crane operation
• Excellent communication, work management, collaboration and result-orientation skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff, management and customers
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
