Our client, a leading insurance broker and consultant, is looking for Client Service Associates to join their team. We are looking for insurance agents/brokers with strong customer service skills and a valid LLQP license.
Full-time; temp to perm role
Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $45K-$60K, based on experience
Summary: This position supports and is responsible for the smooth and efficient processing of Individual Life applications and maintaining regular contact with carriers and vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare FEPO form (pre-populating information) and ensuring information is correct
- Request quotes from Carriers (Great-West Life, Manulife, Canada Life)
- Input proposals for clients into template
- Maintain contact with clients via email/text to review documents and follow up as necessary.
- Ensure client information is accurate and up-to-date (mailing/home address, email, phone number, stage of study, etc.)
- Ongoing liaison & communication between Client, Broker & Insurance carrier (Underwriter or Case Coordinator) via telephone, email & mail
- Maintain accurate records of all customer files/calls & correspondences between 3rd parties
- Be able to utilize/have knowledge of Sales Force
Qualifications:
- Completed university degree or college diploma
- Hold valid LLQP license
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in the insurance industry - within an agent/broker capacity Excellent Customer Service experience
- Basic financial underwriting knowledge
- Be able to read and understand Tax returns & financial statements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be extremely detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Excellent client management ability
- Able to prioritize, multi task and meet urgent deadlines
- Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
