Quality Control Technician

A leading bakery company is hiring QC Technician now.

Salary: $18.50/hr, (night shift premium $0.80/hr, afternoon shift premium $0.40/hr)

The position will involve taking samples of products at various stages of processing, examining ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards, conducting routine tests for product specifications, grading or sorting raw materials or finished products, advising supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies.

Essential skills include problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, numeracy, significant use of memory, finding information, using computers, and an understanding of the use of metal detectors.

Must have good written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to work well with others.

Must be able to work any shift including nights and weekends.
