Banking Administrative Assistant I

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their growing  team. We are looking for a individuals with strong MS Office Skills with a high preference for previous banking experience

 

Contract term: 04/02/2019 to 03/05/2019

Pay rate:  $17 /hour 

Full-time: 37.5 hrs

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m

Must Haves:

  • Hands on knowledge of using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and internet
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational skills and effective time management skills 
  • previous experiences
  • Data entry skill

Nice to haves:

  • Mutual fund industry knowledge an asset 
  • Banking experience 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  •  An energetic individual who can exercise initiative and be thorough, accurate, and detail oriented in handling several tasks and changing priorities  
  • Experience performing various clerical support duties, some of which must relate to the actual job duties
  • Excellent keyboarding, proof reading and data entry skills with emphasis on accuracy
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact
  • Previous experience with administrative functions, e-mail etiquette
