Banking Data Entry II

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for a data entry clerk to join their team. We are looking for candidate who has data entry and ticketing system experience.

 

Contract term: 14/01/2019 to 30/04/2019

Pay rate:  $ 17/hour

Full time: 37.5 hrs per week

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am - 8:00pm, rotational schedule

 

MUST HAVE:

- Strong data entry
- Computer savvy
- MS office – Outlook
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Relationship management
- Attention to detail


NICE TO HAVE:

- CSC
- Previous Banking experience

 

Summary: is to operate data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data. A typical Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurate information documentation and personal project management. Technical skills include documentation skills and time management.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
  • Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.
  • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years related experience required
