Industrial Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic

Our client is a leader in the packaging industry, serving hundreds of the world’s most recognized brands. This is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of folding cartons, unbleached paperboard,  microwave packaging and machinery. 

We are looking for Millwright to start as soon as possible. 

• Working location: Mississauga, Hwy 401 and Hurontario St. 
• Job Type: Full-time
• Rotation shift, once a week on day/afternoon/night

Responsibilities and Duties

• Trouble shooting of company equipment and machinery.
• Install, maintain and remove machinery for the production lines.
• Perform specific tasks such as planning machine installations and alignments, fabricating machinery from constituent parts, etc,
• Perform pipes fittings works on hydraulic, pneumatic and water system.
• Responsible for repairs of production equipment.
• Modified production and machine shop equipment.
• Responsible for operating machine shop equipment to close tolerances
• General clean up, health and hygiene.
• Follows health and safety and all other company policies and procedures.
• Attends and participates in ongoing training.

Job Requirements: 

• 3 years working experience as an Industrial Millwright in Manufacturing industry
• Able to read blueprint and knowledge of OEM
• Certified Millwright, 433A
