Banking Credit Analyst I

Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for Credit Analyst to join their growing team. We are looking for applicants who have excellent communication skills, computer savvy proficient in office time management  and 2 years in the financial industry

Contract term: 07/08/2018 to 06/08/2019

Pay Rate: $17.39/hour

Part-time: 30 - 22.5 hours

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8AM - 9:30PM; Saturday 8AM - 6:30PM; Sunday 9AM - 5PM; Flexibility required

Must Haves:

• 2 years in the financial industry 

Nice to have:

• Accounting or Financial designation
• Degree: University or Post-Graduate

Summary: The main functions of a Credit Analyst is to optimize credit opportunities by adjudicating, structuring, packaging and authorizing credit within designated limits while providing a high level of customer service to our business partners. To operate competently and successfully, it is essential that the candidate possess a thorough knowledge of personal lending principles, products and policies. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Both back office and phones, applications from the dealership and adjudicate, might need to call the dealer to confirm information, takes calls from the dealership
• Credit, good customer service is key, occasionally talk to applicants were confirming identities 

Skills: 

• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking
• Strong aptitude for problem-solving
• Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time with a capacity for effective workflow, organization, and planning
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or related financial discipline preferred
• 0-2 years financial experience preferred
