QA Inspector

We are hiring QA Inspector for a fluid flow equipment manufacturing company in Scarborough.

Location: Scarborough

Shift time: Night shift

Pay rate: $17-18/hour

Job Summary: The Quality Inspector is responsible for direct examination of product to ensure that quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with legislation and customer specifications. Requiring a high level of attention to detail, the Quality Inspector is responsible for strictly adhering to the organization's quality assurance policies, and identifying defects and or production errors in order to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain.

Job Duties And Responsibilities:

• Inspect production material as assigned for defects as trained.
• Perform QA testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Remove defective items from production, designating reason for removal.
• Issue non-compliance reports for products that do not meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records with respect to all products, testing, customer records, modifications and revisions.
• Comply with Company QA programs for monitoring supplier quality, including audits, controls, and other qualifiers.
• Work with production and maintenance teams on quality and process improvement projects.
• Operate in a safe manner and follow all Environmental, Health & Safety and ISO related guidelines and requirements.
• Follow all Company guidelines and policies including the Employee Handbook, posted policies, Company memos and directions from the shift supervisor and senior management.
• To perform other duties and task as assigned.
   

Working Conditions:

• Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
• Lift/Handle 30lbs throughout shift
• Continual Bending/Twisting required
• Factory Environment
