CNC MACHINE OPERATOR $18- Richmond Hill, ON

Our company is hiring for CNC Machine Operator for a leading Pipe manufacturing company in Richmond Hill, starting ASAP

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for operating CNC machines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Operate CNC machinery for production to established production rates
-Operate manual machines as required
-Use measuring instruments to maintain required machine tolerances
-Ability to hold required tolerances through machine offsets, tooling replacement including inserts
-Complete other production related tasks as directed by supervisor
-Package and apply proper identification of machined parts
-Follow standard work practice-method sheet and instructions
-Maintain good housekeeping, follow lean Manufacturing Process and FEM requirements
-Report to the supervisor any damages or malfunction of the equipment and tools
-Wear appropriate safety equipment
-Adhere to company policies and safety rules
-Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor                                                                         
 

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:

Past experience working with CNC Lathe and Milling machines
Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow engineering instructions
Ability to use various types of measuring equipment
Ability to use various types of hand and power tools
Crane training an asset
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
Good verbal and written communication skills

Location: Major Mackenzie and Yonge

Salary: $18/hr

Shift: Afternoon and Night Shift
