Processing Coordinator / Customer Service

Our client supplies custom corrugated packaging solutions to businesses in Canada and the US. 

Currently we are looking for Processing Coordinators to join the team ASAP.  

  • Shift:        Day Shift, Permanent
  • Pay Rate:  $45,000 - $50,000/Year
  • Working Location: Etobicoke, Hwy 427 and the Queensway 

This position reports directly to the Customer Solutions Manager and is responsible for the processing of quotations, orders, and administrative projects for all customers. The Processing Coordinator is responsible for providing daily support to the field sales representatives and customers. Acts as the primary liaison between other departments, as well as other team members regarding customer issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Sales Reps with accurate and timely quotations.
  2. Coordinate and facilitate sales representatives’ challenges when requested by the Sales Department
  3. Purchase corrugated supplies through the Imaginera computer system.
  4. Purchase and expedite steel rule dies and printing plates for new items with outside vendors.
  5. Processing orders and releases through the Imaginera computer system.
  6. Create and maintain dockets, statistical data and efficient filing system.
  7. Liaise with the Inventory coordinator with regards to the disposition of boards.
  8. Adhere to all Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions.
  9. Proofreading Factory Tickets as necessary to ensure that production will have accurate information when running an order.
  10. Review and revise routing in specs on an on-going basis to support continuous improvement.
  11. Assess, establish and monitor Inventory for economic order quantity
  12. Participate in Lean Manufacturing Kaizens and utilize the techniques

Requirements:

  1. Must have at 1 year of corrugated experience in similar capacity or position.
  2. Demonstrated proficiency in using MS Office, Word, Excel and familiar with using Amtech system or other computer programs use for order processing and quotation.
  3. With excellent communications skills in English both verbally and in writing.
  4. Must be well organized, must manage time well and must be capable of adjusting self to company goals.Must be able to work under minimal supervision and able to adjust to flexible working hours.
  5. Willingness to be cross trained in other departments Education and/or Experience
