Maintenance Fabricator, Auto-Parts (Brampton)

A leading auto-parts manufacturing company is hiring.

Responsibilities:
- Build fixtures and auxiliary equipment in accordance with the requirements of the plant
- Assist in designing and planning such fixtures
- Order material, fasteners and all necessary supplies to perform assign work
- Assist other maintenance staff in carrying out maintenance work as instructed by the Manager
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace
- Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Adhere to applicable quality systems and TS16949 standards
- Ensure work area is kept neat and organized
- Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards - Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:
- Minimum completion of Grade 12 diploma
- Ontario Trade License in Millwright/Industrial Mechanic, University Degree in related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in related field Experience in automotive industry an asset
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good welding skills
- Machining skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills Well-developed organizational and time management skills


Working Schedule: Weekends

Location: Steels & Finch (Brampton)

Salary: $30.63/hr. Will be $ 32.24/hr after 3 months
