Our Client is leading Distrubution Center in Brampton and Mississauga

Position : Operation Supervisor - On site

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Leads with a collaborative approach across shifts and supports a team of Associates in the execution of the
plans and objectives, within the timelines, constraints, and available resources.
 Responsible for aligning and implementing departmental plans daily, weekly and 3-6 months out.
 Identifies and addresses potential departmental obstacles to meet daily and weekly production requirements.
 Plans for and responds to plans for current production and seasonal fluctuations to ensure effective execution
to set targets and production plans.
 Utilizes and leverages data and information to provide direction and achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly
targets.
 Continually looks for and actions process and accuracy improvement opportunities while maintaining a cross
functional and cross shift mindset.
 Responsible for driving the identified priorities in priority sequence while addressing obstacles
 Recognizes and addresses department inter-dependencies, and implications of process/business changes to
ensure efficient flow of merchandise.
 Accurately assesses Associate productivity and performance, and provides appropriate training, coaching and
development opportunities through hands-on involvement and providing specific and timely feedback.
 Builds effective and collaborative partnerships across departments and shifts to achieve business goals and
objectives and maximize efficiencies.
 Organizes, plans, and ensures work assignments are allocated and assigned appropriately, and monitors
adherence to establishes work methods, and operational /health and safety standards.
 Utilizes the Collective Bargaining Agreement to maximize business flexibility, while promoting positive Associate
labour relations.

Requirement:

Minimum 2+ years of progressive Supervisory experience (functional and technical areas) of a Distribution environment (in retail or similar business).

Can manage on average 24 to 50 associates, made up of a mixture of full time and temporary associates

Can work in DC environment, including hot/cold temperatures; proximity to moving machinery and equipment, noise and dust. Significant time spent on the Distribution floor.

Shift : Afternoon
Pay Range: $60-$65K annually
