Hello,

We urgently need 1 Shipper/Receivers with Raymond Reach Forklift License for the afternoon shift. Please send me resumes of suitable candidates as soon as you can.

Area: Hwy7 and Leslie, Keele and Rutherford, Dufferin and Langstaff

Pay Rate: $ 18 + 4% vacation fee

Shift Timings: 4:00 pm – 12:30 am or 3pm-11pm

Responsibilities

· Accurately set up materials for production line changeovers, and issue supplies to production lines.

· Pick production orders, supplier requisitions and all other stock requests as per required quantities, accurately and in a timely manner.

· Locate production returns/received material into warehouse ensuring that codes and quantities are correct.

· Receives product, ensuring it is accurately checked and counted. Confirms product is free of damage and infestation; has adequate shelf life and is at proper temperature; all documentation is correct, etc. Verifies description, UPC, quality, quantity, labeling, etc. corresponds with the Bill of Lading and Purchase Order. Documents discrepancies.

· Have materials set up in time for changeovers to different products.

· Return unused materials at the end of the run and ensure materials will remain free of contamination in correct storage location with production staff.

· Receive and transfer all incoming inventory into appropriate locations, shrink wrap and prepare outgoing shipments

· Accurately record incoming inventory and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.

· Receives incoming shipments of materials and provide inventory counts of material when required.

· Be able to handle general warehouse functions including unloading trucks, stocking floor, accurately counting and   recording inventory, keeping area clean and safe.

· Maintain superior warehouse cleanliness and safety as well as perform other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

·         5 years of experience in Warehouse, Shipping/ Receiving, and operation of a fork lift (Raymond Reach)

·         Forklift Certification

·         Minimum Grade 12 education

·         Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work

·         Possess excellent computer skills (especially with Excel), with a skilled aptitude for numbers and accuracy.

·         Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

·         Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

·         Able to work overtime and “off work” hours if needed

·         Comfortable working in a refrigerated (6o-8o c) and freezer (-18o c) environment

·         Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds; regular lifting, bending, and standing is required

·         Familiar with GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP
