Job Title : Credit Assistant (Band level 4) Our client is a leading bank in North America. Department Overview Credit Centre Operations (CCO) is responsible for the adjudication (including completing the necessary due diligence and compliance processes) of all Business and Personal Banking Credit. Job Description As a Credit Assistant supporting CCO you will increase your exposure to the diverse business of carrying out compliance for both Personal and Small Business Lending products while continuing to develop excellent customer service skills and delivering a legendary customer experience to our partners. To the Customer: Optimize credit opportunities by assisting partners in compliance processing, structuring and packaging. Maintain good relationships with partners including responding to questions and concerns Meet and where possible exceed SLA agreements Contribute to operational improvements to streamline procedures/processes and enhance service To the Shareholder: Protect the interests of the Bank by ensuring credit files are being processed in accordance to established guidelines Perform due diligence in support of all credit applications Escalate with recommendation those credit applications that exceed discretionary limits and established guidelines Be knowledgeable and comply with Bank Codes of Conduct To the Team: Actively participate in the performance management process in support of own personal and professional development objectives Contribute to a positive work environment Participate in action plans to improve the employee experience Promote and encourage participation in community related activities Actively participate in regular meetings and coaching sessions.
