Our client is a leading bank in North America. Job Title Job Title: Customer Service Officer (Bilingual:English/French) Pay Rate: $17.02 /hr Start Date: Nov 4 End Date: April 04 2014 with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent hire. Job Description: As a member of the Customer Service Contact Centre, you will join a dedicated team of professional telephone agents who provide exceptional customer service for our cardholder clientele. Through inbound service calls, you will provide timely and accurate guidance and service to cardholders for a variety of MasterCard product lines, plans and programs. Your responsibility will be to provide prompt, courteous and efficient service that exceeds customer expectations; contribute to effective cost and risk control through productivity and adherence to corporate processes and controls; and achieve departmental sales targets through recommendation of appropriate products and services which meet our ever-changing customer needs. You will be able to recognize and successfully leverage opportunities to further expand our clients' business through cross-selling/value-add opportunities. We are searching for people friendly telephone agents that thrive in a Contact Centre environment. The successful candidates will possess the following: • Ability to work in a statistically driven environment, measured by call quality and call productivity goals. • Ability to quickly adapt to change. • Proven ability to multitask and exhibit excellent attention to detail while consistently following established procedures and processing transactions. • Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving attributes. • 2 years + of Customer Service experience preferred. • 1 year + of sales experience preferred; retail experience is a plus • Fully bilingual in English and French Availability: Must be available for Shifts scheduled from Mon to Sun (1:30pm - 3am) including holidays and expected to work one weekend day, Sat, Sun or sometimes both. MUST be fully available for full time training for 5 weeks Mon-Fri from 8am - 5pm. ( 3 weeks in class training and 2 on the job ) After the first 3 weeks, the client will more than likely be able to advise them on their Fixed Shift Schedule which they will maintain for the duration of the assignment. Due to the shift hours, candidates Must have a vehicle, have access to a vehicle, or means of transportation to get home after their shift due to Transit hours. Free Parking onsite is available. For example, if you were available 8pm-12pm on Mon and Tues and then 6pm-10pm on Fri and Sat that would total 12 hours. 5) Employee must give at least 30 of availability in the designated windows.
