Business Development Representative

The role of a Business Development Representative will present a great opportunity to accelerate your career in the SaaS and Enterprise Sales Industry.

In this role you will gain experience interacting with prospects and clients of all levels, in a variety of industries and across a broad geographical area. You will be provided the tools, resources and leadership to sell enterprise business solutions and accelerate your career to the next level.

Our main goal is to help you become a successful Business Development Representative while preparing you to step into a Sales Specialist or Account Manager role, if that's the path you choose. There are many ways to advance your career at Tempus Workforce.

Responsibilities:

-- Drive targeted outbound sales campaigns that generate net new customer leads/sales, nurture existing leads and identify upsell opportunities in existing accounts
-- Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills
-- Establish, maintain and develop relationships with decision makers and business owners
-- Conduct account mapping, research and contact discovery for prospects and target accounts
-- Track lead, opportunity and account activity in CRM on a daily basis
-- Provide accurate updates and forecasts of lead progression/status.
-- Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities

Requirements :

-- Passionate in technology sales
-- High energy, highly motivated with can-do attitude
-- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
-- Outstanding follow up and attention to detail
-- Strong presentation skills, phone presence and high energy
-- Must be able to uncover opportunities in an aggressive market by identifying customer requirements and providing recommendations/solutions
-- Technical Savvy and High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
-- Excellent business writing, communication, phone and presentation skills

Experience:

-- 1 year of previous B2B lead development or Inside Sales experience, SaaS sales experience is an asset.
-- Consistent record of achieving sales quotas and goals
-- Four (4) year BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
-- Experience in software development, or professional services a plus
